ok.....so i have another thread with the dart room and read it. it was a horrible experience with someone i thought was my business partner. dart room looks great. i'll keep the pics posted.

so if you read the thread, you'd know i hired unintentionally someone i thought i could trust. she insulted my fathers death and threatened our family. i received an order for protection. i have bad luck. well we finally got her out of the house. it was horrible. i was planning a funeral and filinf an OFP at the same time!

this is what she did. she emailed my nanny she loves doing this to me, enjoys it and shes not leaving.(yeah right, i know my laws too and my rights to nasty people who would threaten me and the family in front of my children...grrrrrr!) so she is out. after keying my car. its a doge ram with hood scoop, leather seats, dodge chrome rims, the whole deal. one of the things i kept very babied besides my family and frogs. then this is even worse!

SHE POISONED MY FAVORITE DARTS. MY HIGHLAND BRONZES THAT WERE OF BREEDING AGE! SHE CAREFULLY PUT SOME LOTION AND SMELLS LIKE BLEACH UNDERNEATH THE COCOHUTS! THE MALES SEIZED IMMEDIATLEY. THESE ARE DARTS YOU CAN NOT GET EASILY AT BREEDING AGE....SEAN STEW BEING THE ONLY IMPORTER. I HAD A 3.2 BREEDING GROUP. HEALTHY. WELL THE FEMALES ARE LEFT. I GAVE THEM A AMPHIBIANS RINGER SOLUTIONS BATH AND AM HOPING THEY ARE FINE AND I CAUGHT IT IT TIME. THEY ARE ACTIVE, EATING, AND APPEAR TO BE FINE. TIME WILL TELL.

question: can she be charged for doing this? we cleaned out 63+ quarantines today for all darts just in case. i believe she just did it to the highland bronzes knowing that they were a breeding colony, my favorite, and that they were so darn expensive when i toild her how much the babies were.

i am dumbfounded. what did i ever do to anyone who would do such a thing except be generous? i cried over their deaths. emotional time for me with fathers funeral tomorrow and i had planned on putting them into their custom viv hopefully next week. where in the world, besides raising babies can i possibly find male highland bronzes? this is nuts.

im no lawyer, but I would definitely get in touch with one and try pressing charges. I know that you can file a police report if object thats destroyed is over 20 dollars. Weather or not its worth cost of the lawyers is another question. Personally I would go after this lady even if it wasn't worth the cost of the lawyers. Just for a little pay back.

I was kinda reading your other thread about this and I know that you had alot of problems with this woman. What exactly was your business arrangement with this woman, If you don't mind me asking?

Cat, dog, horse, or even a little frog, that is animal cruelty and damn right she can be charged criminally. You need to report that and the damage to the car. Probably need to anyways for insurance reasons but press charges against that bitch.

thank you alex. i was looking for a business partner. 350 all utilities included with dart help, website, opprotunity was great. my investment was to her advantage. we took pics. dead darts, she put a pop bottle cap underneath the cocohuts with what smells like bleach and lotion of some kind so i couldnt see it clearly. insurance will be notified. i'll need to also file a report with police and maybe humane society? this is crazy. how could anybody be sooooo cruel! They died in a seized position. i should just list her name right now. i am waiting for OFP permanent hearing on wed. to do so. trust me, she seemed very legit at first. either that or i am easily fooled and walked on. kristy

No problem, I really hope you can do something about this... Are highland bronzes endangered? if so you might be able to nail her for killing an endangered species.

not sure...but the price of them is up there and she killed three already. ugggh i dont even know what to say anymore. so sad. lets hope nothing was done to the rest. i'm devistated as it is. kristy

by the way chad....right on. i'll try what i can. havent had much luck with ramsey,mn police but i do like the sherriffs here....one police officer was nice. he actually went to the police academy where i used to live up north, hibbing mn kristy

It is very difficult to charge someone on a cruelty case unless someone actually saw her do it. If you took her to court you would have prove without a doubt that she is the only person other then you to have access to the frogs (animals) and also prove without a doubt that she is the person who did this. Animal cruelty is definately a wide spread thing, laws in MN will be different then those here in CA, but normally with animals they are about the same. The big thing now is getting her out of your house without any more deaths. I would install security cameras just in case she decides to come back or sends someone back (while no one is home) to destroy another pet. Even when their is proof that someone has intentionally damaged a pet (killed in this case) the only thing you can get (if you even do) is the cost of the pet. Now in saying that, if you can prove that she has done this you could file charges not only for those 2, but also calculate in how many offspring they produce on a yearly basis, multiply that by the amount of years they would breed and you could try to go for that amount of money. Here in CA I have a friend who had a breeding bitch, she was intentionally poisoned and someone saw the person doing it (had proof without a doubt, witnesses, video) and she recieved damages for the cost of the pet, the cost of the pets offspring over the life of the pet. It was a very long grueling case and took a lot of time and effort. Another thing to think about is even though we as animal lovers and dart hobbyists think differently from the lay person who has no clue or love for them. That can be an issue in court. Animal cruelty cases are handled by your local ASPCA or animal control but they are going to have to have hard evidence proof in order to pursue anything, it can not be speculation. Without video, witnesses or pictures it will not be able to be an animal cruelty case as the woman can argue that you did this to your own frogs to make her look bad and the burden of proof lies upon you not her. If you would like to contact me I can speak with you about it from a veterinary legal stand point. PM me and I can either give yu my number or take your number call you and let you know exactly what steps you have to take in order to be able to pursue this and also what will fly with animal cruelty cases and what wont. Like I said previously, the laws are going to vary from my state to yours but they do not vary much when it comes to animals. I hope this helps, I am very sorry for your loss and remember that everything she does to you will come back on her in time.

I feel for you. I don't quite understand what law is keeping her under your roof, but you must have some recourse based on all the incidents that you outlined in the other thread.

This may sound a little too james bond for you but you could try to call her and get her to admit to poisoning your frogs on tape/audio(probably both to prove its her number)

good idea on getting her to admit my nanny has made "fake friends " with her. dane she has been removed by an order dor protection. now it was her crying over no place to stay yetb she had 6 people help her move her things? she was here maybe 2.5 weeks. uggh! we spent 8 hours soaking darts in theor own ARS bath all night to ensure no more were poisoned and the females did have a poisonong cap under their cocohut. they were activ, alert, and wanting to eat. i'm just hoping the fumes didnt get tp them. i didnt see them inside the cocohut. I was blind to it at first until the males deceased one after the other right away wondering what i did wrong, or how it was even possible. they were healthy, active, ate a lot, 2.5 years old. ready to go into custom viv, then wham! dead?? i was hurt since i quarantined them 3 months atleast and had done fecals upon fecals. yes i know not everything comes up in fecals. but 2 died at same time. third i saw lethargic but never occured to me to look under cocohut. third was dead the next morning. males tend to be the ones interested in the cocohuts. the females always ignored them usually. i am hoping they are ok. I am lucky to have some ARS solution for a bath for them just in case they were exposed. it may be too late, or they may be ok. they breath through their skin which isnt a good sign. I almost wanted to give up. like get out of the hobby seeing as i had received a few darts adults in the past that died right away( stress from shipping ...maybe virus???) and now this? my prized group? of course i care about all of them, but they were my favorites, so outgoing, could be housed together....and the babies sean even sells for 125.00 a pop i believe. i ordered a custom viv with drip wall and auto mister for them. my mother drove down 4 hours just to clean up this girls mess and help us. sad.


got your pm....will call.....james bond or not lol.....i'm up for anything. i'm starting to feel like i should have tortured her....its getting me to think spiteful when i shouldnt and know it was wrong. but a thought occured to me.....lol....to let 1000 crix losse down there...they would die within 2 weeks....or a bunch of my fruit flies lol.....i wouldnt do it cuz i'm such a nice person, but thinking about it....makes me feel better. i'm glad she is gone. what a relief. and took all her crap.....she almost was arrested for her anger as it was during when the sheriff served her..i knew the judge would sign it as i outlined we have minor children in this house. that was the key to getting an emergency ex parte order for protection. court which she has to prove why it should be dropped is on wed. but i dont see her provong anything and all this has given me more to say if the judge asks. sometimes it is better to be civil and politely silent in court unless asked to speak than to let emotions fly. i will do as i think i should be. i know she has anger problems and will likely dig herself a hole if she even does decide to go, though i doubt she will. we'll see. well...got to run my mom to get her hair colored for the funeral at 1 today. be back soon. thanks for the encouragement so far and vet boy the pm, i replied. dane, thank you. fortunately she has been removed, nanny had a locksmith uncle redo the locks and we have act i think it is called security system. we changed the garage door code as well. i am just sad. over the whole situation. sad i got my family and my darts put into this situation. wasn't fair to neither and i feel guilty. kristy
