With Christmas Near...

As everyone knows, christmas is around the corner. Mom has been hitting me up for ideas. I have a few books in mind, but I was also thinknig about a digital camera, since her and my dad could split cost. I've heard good things about Nikon coolpix and heard they weren't outrageously overpriced? Is this true? I'm jsut looknig for a decent camera that can take some good frog pictures. Any and all input is appreciated.

go with the camera that has the best macro feature. If you dont you will for ever be frustrated trying to get closer pics of your frogs without them becoming blurry as you move in closer.
