Default Must Have

They must have, because not only does Home Depot suck, their lumber sucks royally! There's NO way that the lumber in my 4 neighborhood HD's is from any kind of old growth hardwood. Everything they have is soft, with 1/4 inch growth rings and are warped beyond practical usability.

The way I figure it, if we can come up with biodegradable cell phones http://sympatico.msn.cbc.ca/story/sc...ers041130.html there's no reason we can't come up with an enviornment frienldy building material that doesn't suck.

Just a thought.

Default e

they have environmentally friendly lumber now. its made from recycled plastic I think, its just really expensive.

'Sides, why TRY to come up with a way to make less money? When they can buy all sorts of wood for next to nothing, why work on an alternative?

The first step in my opinion would be to get a law or something going where wood is more protected and can no longer be imported or some thing along those lines. If retailers CAN, they WILL. The almighty Buck.
