I'm not sure but check with your local regulations and guidelines on getting them. We recently had an issue in my county with somebody illegally bringing in a particular species of rhino beetle and they got out into a neighbors farm and devastated his crops. The guy basically introduced an invasive species into the local ecosystem. :shock:
Anyway, it sounds like a cool idea to have them in your classroom. Are you a biology teacher? I have some preserved specimens of rhino beetle on display in my classroom, but it would be cool to have live ones.
