Just before my work related surgery last week, this panel truck, 2007 Chevy HHR (Heritage Hot Rod or High Roof), no windows, caught my eye which now has my attention to buy after my settlement comes thru. I plan on many options to be added to bring the sticker price from 17,000 to 30,000. Full tank of gas, 16 gal, 460 miles. It's not pretty but pretty will come afterwards. I am also in process of the vehicle will be a part of a new business on the road. The panel truck will be airbrushed to advertise the businesses. After the business is in motion I will be building and taking part in the build of a new home after I marry my girlfriend which we've been together for over 5 years. Wedding has been set for next August.
Anyone in need of vivarium supplies delivered?
Pictures are from the dealers lot that I took.
Staging broke year and half ago, I fell straight down busted my heel in 4 places. Ankle bones were out of place, 4 pins inserted, bone cut and wedged, battery operated unit inserted in my foot to strengthen bone that has dederiated as a result of neglect from 1 orthopedic. A foot specialist has done the operation to fix my foot.
Not too much on the business till I research all the pros and cons involved with risks, insurance and the need within the area. My lawyer will inform me of the need and profitability margin so it's not a waiste of time and money.
That looks freakin' sweet. It's about time someone made a panel "van" w/ some style again. I'll trade my cooper S for it!, well after you get that thing souped up w/ some much needed xtra HP!!! Or maybe not. I'm sure you can't get your business "supplies" to fit in my ride. But, you could park anywhere you wanted! Congrats and best of luck. Success is only some research and effort away> 8)
If you have a settlement coming through, you would be better off investing your money in something that will not loose 40% of it's value when you drive it off the lot.
As you already know, surgeries do not always go as planned, and you will be much better off getting a used vehicle which has already lost the depreciation, than purchasing anything new. ...or keep your eyes open for someone who has had their vehicle repo'd.
Settlements never go as far as people think - and you need to keep in mind that you might never fully recover to your pre accident health.
Don't know what your business is, but put your settlement money back for the rainy day that will come one day. Don't look at it as a once in a lifetime payout. Make it work as hard for you, as you had to work to get it!!!
In this day and age a good mutual fund or etc. is a great idea for things of this nature. May also pay to get a financial planner, but watch for a good one and get a referral from a friend.
