Default Pressure Treated Wood

For all you chemist buffs again....

I made this neat-o "floating" chameleon "cage" from pressure treated wood (Has a green tint, so I assume inorganic Arsenic and Chromium treatment?). My question is the safety of this piece for the chameleon. I can always go get a branch (Just had a wind storm) to use as the main column, but that would mean unscrewing and reattaching all the components/branches. This piece of wood has been outside and weathered for almost ten years.

Thanks,

Pressure treated woods are known to leach arsenic, copper and chromium (see http://www.caes.state.ct.us/PlantScienc ... enic99.htm).
The problem with come from the ingestion of the heavy metals when feeding, drinking or incidental ingestion of shed skin that has been in contact with the wood.
