Default what did you all get for Christmas???

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and got what they wanted.

Anyway, I'll start. Being an animator I got a lot of animation related stuff that will help me out a lot with the animation mentor certification program that I am starting in January. It's Awesome, I'm gonna be mentored by people that work for places like Disney, Pixar and ILM. I can't wait!!!

Anyway, I got the following:

1. 2x 19" LCD monitors to replace my thrift shop dual monitor setup (well I actually had to pay for one, but my parents bought the other).

2. A good web cam for me to use to take the animation mentor classes.

3. An awesome captain hook figure that I saw at the Disney store when I was shopping for my niece. It looks just like the character unlike so many junk toys that look nothing like the cartoon character they represent. (yeah I'm a big kid, but I have to be, I'm an animator).

4. An Optimus Prime action figure that is modeled after the prime in the original 80s series. This one really looks like the character too unlike the junky small ones they sell. (been feeling really nostalgic here lately)

5. And last but not least, Final Fantasy 12 and Wild Arms 4 for the PS2.

Now I'll finially be able to play around inside a tube amp without being worried about killing something super expensive. 5 watts of class A tube (EL-84) goodness. This will be my next Frankenstein:

I asked for sticks and a practice pad, so the old man (who's been playing for 50ish years) took care of me:

I explicitely asked for a 5A or 747 Oak Promark stick - he just made sure to get a pair that responded they way they should

And I got a keyboard stand for they keyboard my girlfriend got me last year for Christmas. Up until now I haven't played it much because there's no place to put it. Well that's going to change.

I went with the black one. I also got the "Life Aquatic" DVD set. It is probaly one of my favorite movies, up there with Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Fight Club.

Other than that I just got some little oddities. I was pretty psyched :D.

I got a wire rack for my tanks

I also got a really nice desk. I work from home so this is cool, we are redoing a room to be my office/frog room. Up until now I have been squeezed into the corner of my bedroom with a tiny desk. So those were my 2 best presents.

I got a new horse

A crystal frog

perfume

some outfits to wear

That's all the major stuff

-A little toolbox (I guess my father finally got tired of me borrowing his tools for the vivariums and never bringing them back haha)
-A plastic organizer thing for tadpoles
-Some nice vests
- Jak and Daxter II and III from my brother(my guilty pleasure video games)
-Some cash money

Then my parents gave my brother a letter telling him they will buy him a Wii when they are again available in the US. Which means that he, and I will both get to use it.

This years Christmas was good to me. The best part about it was giving gifts to the family. That's always fun.

An excellent gift.

Make sure to keep your tools all together. The most useless thing in the world is a toolbox missing the one or two things you really need (bc/ they've been lost, misappropriated or misplaced).

Have a hoppy,
