Default Bearded Dragon Enclosure

This is a desert type enclosure I recently built for my year old beardie.

Now THAT'S a beardie tank. How did you do the rock work and background?

Combination of wood, aluminum screening, and GS foam for the framework. Tile grout and sand for the rock and covered that with a water-based sealant.

That is an amazing enclosure. Is all the rockwork homemade, or are there some actual rocks in there? What kind? Are the cactus planted directly into the sand, or are they in buried pots? Again, amazing.

Thanks guys. The rockwork is all fake, there are no real rocks in there. And all the plants are also fake. Got them online. I glued them into the enclosure so they would stay.

Wow! Awesome tank! How large is it? ... and where did you get the glass fronts? And what type of sealant did you use? lol.
I have a 75 gal saltwater tank on a home made stand and I was thinking about doing exactly what you did with the fake rock wall inside the stand for my beardie (I have made a number of fake rock walls for my other reptiles, they love em! and they are so cheap!). I havent ever made one so it wont be removable for cleaning.... how is cleaning goin? did you grout all the sides and bottom of the tank or just the sides?
Thanks!! again, great tank!

It is approximately 4'x2'x2'. The sealant I used was just a spray on one called Stand 'n Seal Grout Sealant. The glass I just got from my local glass store; it is 1/4" glass with metal sliders I ordered on line. I grouted everything except the ceiling and cleanup is really easy. He poops in the sand which functions like a litter box so I just pick it up and everythings clean. Good luck
