Default Compaction, quick need a cure!

Is there any way to help a frog that seems to have a compaction problem. It is a male dwarf tinct that I have noticed cannot poop. His belly is getting really large. I can see him try to poop, and a "turtle head" shows from the anus, but it will not come out. Im guessing it is part of something bigger that is stuck inside.

Is this going to kill him? I have herd that one can bath the frog in warm water and massage the belly towards the butt, to try forcing it out. Is this worth a try?
