Default 40 Gallon Long Display Viv Questions

I am going to be setting this up in the next few days...weeks... My question is based on BGs. Since this viv will be in my living room, the aesthetics will play a bit of a role for the first time for me. I want to do a very shallow BG using ceramic tiles. I saw some at Home Depot that were like a quarry wall. It was flush, but looked like grooved stone. I was wondering if anyone has tried this? I would not be bonding the tile to the backwall of the viv, rather using styrofoam to apply the needed pressure to keep the tiles strictly in place. I would love to hear any and all feedback/advice, whether positive or negative. This will be designed for 3 P. terribilis orange juvs.

I have been trying to locate an image of the item, but have so far failed... I will keep looking, if I find it, I'll post it ASAP!

All my thanks!

JBear

It is very similar to this. Keep in mind it comes in square tiles, not these puzzle sections...

Ceramic Stratford Place Universal 2 in. x 9 in. Floor Accent-SD9029DECO1P at The Home Depot

*In looking at it again, this is not at all, what I was looking at, it was just the closest thing I could find. There are no gaps it is a solid piece...*

Any thoughts? All my thanks!

So it would be stacked like the link attached but with solid one color tiles not multi color tiles? Sounds neat is going to be cool to see it come together. I would and possibly other understand better if you had some kind of mock-up of what you are trying to do though i think i get your general idea.

These are rocky looking tiles, solid without spereate stacked stones. The tiles are like 1' x 1'. They look like a sheer rock wall with horizontal grooves top to bottom. it looks very natural to me. The tile is about .5" thick in total.
