Default Need help for Hurricane frog survivors

If you haven't seen the story check this first:
http://www.dendroboard.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9964

Now that he's got at least some of the collection back he doesn't have any food. He's been scrounging for termites but needs flies to get his food system back on track. In case you don't know Ian Hiler is from New Orleans and works for the Audobon Institute at the Aquarium there. He is in pretty desperate need of fruit flies, media, vitamins and cuturing cups. I sent him a bunch of media and cups but don't have much in the way of spare flies so I'm asking for your help to get him some cultures, preferably ones that are well started and producing flies. Anything you can do is very much appreciated. Live flies will require overnight or 2 day delivery and the only service that is running in the area code where he is staying is the US postal service. None of the other carriers are able to deliver there yet so USPS is the only way to get stuff to him.

If you are interested in helping out please send me an email or PM and I will give you the address. If enough people just send one or two cultures he should have enough to feed and get his new cultures started.

Thanks in advance,
Robb

Update: Well I just got word from someone who sent a package Friday that it got returned to them with a note saying that they can't deliver to that zip code. If anyone else has things returned please send me a note as soon as possible. My package that I sent on Thursday hasn't been returned (yet) so I'm going to check with Ian early this week to see if he has received anything. If not we'll have to find another address.

If your package does get returned and you have trouble getting a refund on shipping just send me a receipt and I'll take care of it.

Thanks,
Robb

Just talked with Ian and he got the first of the boxes today. He wanted me to thank everyone who sent supplies his way and say he really appreciates it. Thanks so much to everyone who responded. Looks like he'll have enough to feed and get things rolling again. Let's just hope this next one gives them a break and heads to Texas.

Not that you have anything against Texas I hope!

(I hope Houston doesn't get it as bad as New Orleans)
