Default M. aurantiaca deaths at metamorphosis

I'm losing lots of my M. aurantiaca just at the time of metamorphosis (4 legs, tails shortening but still there).
I'm mystified as to the cause. It's not feeding. One or two could have drowned but not all of them.
Any aurantiaca breeders experienced this? I don't have these problems with dendrobatids.

Default Golden death

How are your tanks setup is there a shallow end so they can naturally go twards that area.If one can drown then you may have a problem with your rearing tank once mine get there front legs long tail and all I put them in a nursery tank I dont wait for them to absorb the remaining portion of their tails. My rearing tanks consist of java moss or whatever you can get in the deeper portion and the water isnt very deep at all maybe quarter of an inch deep and that is it they can lift their heads out of the water or they can crawl withch they naturally do to the dryer part of enclosure. The only other thing I can think of is parent nutrition if the parents arent eating a good quality diet then they might be throwing weak juveniles.
