Default azureus not eating?

i just bought 2 azureus at the salt lake city reptile expo and have had them for almost 2 weeks now. they both have been eating very well for me since i've had them, but for some reason one of them didn't eat this morning and has been sitting in the water bowl most of the day. the other one is doing fine and is a pig. any advice as why it is acting this way. i've kept 8 leucs for 2 years now so i figured i have enough experience to try a different type likes these azureus. some one please help i'm worried its sick or im doing something wrong.

i had the same problem. i had an auratus when i first bought it.. it was perfectly fine. then it stopped eating and started sitting in the water all day but it also kept like scratching itself everytime i sprayed it or after it moved. i think it was because of the heat. the temps had gotten pretty high that week and i couldnt keep them temp down. How the temp? is the other one bigger and bullying it around? im new but those have been my experiences so far hope it helps

I would say temp or humidity is possible
is the other frog acting like this at all?

if not it is more likely bullying,

you may have to seperate them if this is the case.

For now just watch them carefully and feed extra heavily

hope this helps, good luck.

Could be a bullying issue - especially if you have two females.

The fact that it was sitting in the water bowl all day could mean something different though. Frogs often sit in water when they are trying to flush something out of their system.

I'd just keep an eye on them. If there seems to be agression, you may want to separate them. If there isn't any agression, and the frog still isn't eating in a few days, I'd set up a nursery tank for it.

Sometimes if a frog isn't eating, you can get it to eat by offering it some termites.

Let us know how it goes.

Could be a number of things already suggested or it could be some type of bacteria. A lot of frogs that are "sick" with bacteria will constantly sit in the water.
