Hi Shazzbott,
These are the sporangia (fruiting bodies) of a slime mold. You may have seen the plasmodium crawling on the glass. This is the giant "amoebae" stage of growth. Once it gets big enough, it tries to find a dry surface to sporulate on. Unfortunately, the conditions in most vivs is too humid, so most of the sporangia abort (which is what looks like what happened here).
No worries about them. Slime molds help clean-up the vivarium.
