mist nozzles

How many nozzles would you recommend for a 24 inch cube?

1 or 2 should be fine unless you have something specific you want kept moist in your design. Most nozzles will have about a 2' diameter effective misting range.

I put 4 into my 2' x 2' x 2' Solarte viv and it was way too much. It was washing good eggs down into the broms. I removed two and am happy with just the two remaining nozzles.
