Default Groups size for 2 40g breeder verts

I know I'm a bit away but I want to figure out which frogs I'm gonna get to build the tanks around them.

I have a 40g breeder on a stand that I can add another to if I stand them both up as verts. So in one I wanted to put some vents, maybe 4-5 as a group?

In the other I thought about some pumilios but how many in a 40g vert? I'd like to do another group but I thought pums had to be in pairs. I also have a 15g that I cant decide if I want it a vert or long and 2 10g's that are going to be verts eventually.

I decided to go with vents in the 40 vert that I'm building... Going to put 4 vents in it. FYI 40 vert is an awesome tank size!

I've always heard it's best to keep pums in pairs rather than groups because they are aggressive.

I'd go with one of the imitator morphs or Vanzos as the other group.

Yeah, I think the 40 vert is gonna turn out great, especially side by side.

I do like the imitators as well but I thought they were a pair species also.

Yep, Imis do better in pairs. I've heard people doing 2.1 trios but most say the lone male is simply that.
