Default Snail removal

So about a week ago, I decided the snails definatly needed to vacate one of my 18-18-24 exoterras.
Being that there is microfauna I want to keep in there, I am trying to avoid doing a CO2 bomb if I can.
Started baiting and picking them with lettuce and cucumber, got 40 in the first hour, a similar amount the next morning, then the thinned to 10-20 a day for about 3 days, now today, just one.
What are the chances of one eliminating them in this fasion?

At first, I thought they were kind of neat, they only seemed to go after the mushrooms that popped up in the viv, but the past couple months, they have been eating everything green but the moss and the broms...my pretty ferns are about toast...

In an out of viv setting. perceatic acid (sp?) puts em down in no time flat.

Mentioned here:

Tau Topics - Vinegar and Hydrogen Peroxide as Disinfectants

When I get around to it, I'll search more about it, as for residues and such, but I had a little snail death chamber misted with the peroxide and vinegar mix, and eventually the snails stopped dieing when I put them in it, so it must degrade somewhat.
I don't think I'd be comfortable spraying down the whole viv with it though.
