veraderos fighting
so i have a veradero calling today and at first one was following it around (apparently female) and so i left them alone. i come back later and the male is calling and watching the two apparent females duke it out. i think the fighting will only take place when the male is calling and they are both interested. any thoughts?

Re: veraderos fighting
OOOOOH...!
possible bad situation, i had Nominal imitator females fight alot, due to only 1 male, never seemed to stress the submissive, but wasnt the best life for it, always getting wrassled around. there was definately a dominant female.
Bigger tank or more hides/planting w/ alot more laying sites might help.
but the simplest solution is to bring her over and sell her to me, that will alleviate any more concerns.
Good luck.

Re: veraderos fighting
well the tank is 26 gallons. you have seen them tony, the big plexi glass ones. even if they only fight when he calls im worried about egg eating too. and they are STILL fighting. neither is bigger than the other and there is no clear winner :P haha

Re: veraderos fighting
I think all those suggestions about either "selling the excess frog" to them or "bringing the trouble maker over to them" are rude. And as punishment to them I will be happy to take the offending one!
