^ In that case, I 'could' have discovered a lot by communicating with other froggers and simply googling the 'vendor' in this case.
I was naive, and trusting, and in the end, despite my trying [and expecting] to do this import properly [I have a license and did the req PW at the time], I was led along with a scam.
The 'red flags' were there to be seen, if I was looking.....
Best to just stick with the people you know, and trust and if it looks too good to be true, it is.
