Default Grey Legged Vent Trio

I picked up a trio of grey legged vents.

What would be the best size tank for them? 20 gal XH or a 29 gal

I know they are kinda shy so I hoping a well planted tank helps them over come that a wee bit. Any suggestions on how to help with the shyness would be great to.

Thank you

i had a trio of bl vents for about 2 years. i kept in a 30gal cube and they were out all the time and bred like..... well like vents. i noticed they like a little bigger tank. atleast a 20 vert or bigger if you want them to stay active in the open.

If you can, go tall, they are terrific climbers.

I agree with everyones opinion here except Shawns My vents spend 90% of the time hunting in the leaf litter and only head up high at night. I don't find mine to be shy at all and they are still in a temporary 10g vert. Of course they are moving into a 18x18x24 exo terra this month.

Regular 20 gallon would give them more than enough room.
