Default fighting question

will males fight with females or vise versa.

females fight females?

i know males will fight with males !

the situation is i have 3 imitators in a 10 vert. they are 7, 6, and 5 months old

the 7 and 6 month old imitators seem to be "fighting" i have not hear any calling tho. the 7month imis is believed to be female but has not been proven yet so its still possible its a male. i was just wondering if i should go ahead and seperate them or if its just normal for them to be aggressive when coming of mature age. and will they calm down?

they dont follow each other like breeding, and no calling is heard or seen.

Sometimes my 2 females peck at eachother during feeding, but nothing harmful. I've also seen one of my females step on the male's head. I think it's possible for anybody to fight with anybody.

imitators wrestle with everything. scrappy little frogs.

I'd watch them, but would likely only ADD dense plant matter and leave the situation alone myself.

I havent had imis hurt each other, in various groupings 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, 3.1 ect

Best,

Shawn

My imi's wrestle all the time, but I have only seen my males really tumble around. My females will chase each other off every now and then, but the males really go at it. They still breed like crazy, and it doesn't seem to bother them once they move on. At least not until the next day when it starts over again
