Default Information for vents and imitators

Hey, I was just looking for any information I can find on vents and on imitators. I will probably be getting some of either or each species soon, and I want to be ready for them. So, what temps work, day and night, humidity, tall terrarium, or lots of ground space (i figure they are very arboreal), best plants, running water?, and anything else anyone can help me out with. There really isn't much information on care of either of these. Also, what are the main differences of imitators and vents, they seem very similar, besides for looks. Thanks for anyones help,

Ed Parker

Ed,
I have had good success with imitators so here is some what has worked for me in the 2 years I have kept them.
Temps: in the low 70's to about 83 with out any problems, they breed better at the cooler side of the temps.Room temp at night winter and summer.
Humidity:if the glass has condensation it is humid enough or 80 -100 percent,it can vary some.
Terrariums: I have had them in variuos one but they are very arboreal but some individuals do like to hunt in the leaf litter.
Plants: I am a big fan of broms and other epiphytic plants.
No need for running water, but mist them alot.
If you have any more question send me a pm.
Mark W.
