Default jungle pods?

I recently purchased a trio of jungle pods and only one will hold water. Seems that the larger ones of the group won't even hold water for a period of time. By this I mean they are empty within a half hour. Is this the norm? The reason I ask is because I've seen it mentioned before in the forum that people had leaky pods :?:

Ive never had these but I just read a post where somebody siliconed the inside to waterproof it. So, maybe that would work. Good luck!

Some of mine hold water permanently and others for about a day until it all leaks out. I usually just spray some more in them when I spray down the vivaria. Another cool way I use them is I fill it with sphagnum moss to anchor in a small cryptanthus. It looks really cool. Then I just lay them around the tanks.

I think I actually got these from Lowes when I was shopping. I know you can get them from many of the sponsors on the site. Check them out. They are a neat addition to the viv and they are really inexpensive.

If you are asking about the pods I got mine at Black Jungle, you cant miss the advertisement at the top of the page. They are good for decoration as well as hide spots for smaller frogs.

If you're looking to have them hold water, just smear some Brown colored GE II Silicone inside them with your finger and let them cure for a day or two. I've had great success with this!
