Default Frogs on a plane

If I flew to a show and bought some frogs how do I bring these back home? Do I have to UPS/FedEx/Mail these back or can I bring these on the plane with me? Thanks.

Hey Jacksonville...my home town Several vendors have stated they carry them on the plane as a carry on (probably in a carryon bag or something like that)and usually don't get questioned about having the frogs when they are scanned through the scanner machine. If they get questioned they tell the person asking that they are trpoical frogs.

And let's just pray Samuel L. Jackson will not be on board as we all know he is sick and tired of frogs on a M#$%*@# F*@%*^* plane!

The venders probably have a permit to carry these frogs, were a normal person could be questioned and possibly have the frogs taken.

Some apparently don't have a permit. This was mentioned on another forum. The vendor's statement was
"We have been flying to events with frogs for about 6 years, and I am a firm believer in the "No ask, no tell" phlosophy. The TSA could care less, it is the airlines that have the 'rules' as to what if any, animals can be brought on.
We have a carry on that is well within the allotted dimensions, the frogs get packed in deli cups placed in the bag and the bag is sent through Xray with NO attention drawn to the bag. IF somesone should question the contents we tell them they are tropical frogs, and leave it at that.

I can't say I have ever heard of anyone having a problem with carry on frogs when handled this way
."

Well with NAAC and the other big frog events I'm sure people have flown or will fly(or even other herp shows). If you could post what you did or will do and if you ran into any problems. Thanks

I am not a breeder and had to fly from Ohio to Calf when I moving and took the frogs on the plane. I was not sure what would happen with the xray with the frogs. I told them I had frogs in the box and didnt want to have it scanned if possible becuase it had frogs in it. They examined the box and took out he deli cup and scanned the box with out them in there. Not and issue.
