Default 3-10 gallon vert..what to put in them!

I have 3-10-gallon verts and they are well planted with branches and waterfall features..I am having a hard time on what to put in them. Is there anything else you can put in verts besides thumbnails? and ifso...pairs or single?

Singles can be done, but it's a lot less fun than having a pair and getting to see the interaction. Pumilio are not truly a thumb and will work in that size tank, otherwise I'd pretty much stick to the thumbs.

Do the waterfalls tanke up much of the usable area?

A pair of one of the smaller non-thumb species would be OK, IMO.
E. Anthonyi and E. Tricolor come to mind and are good beginner frogs and pretty available. They also like the height that verts provide.

Some more things to consider with E. Anthonyi/Tricolor. They're typically very hardy, tolerate a wider temp range than others, eat a wide variety of foods, mature quickly, breed well, have a great/loud call, are active all day long, usually not shy, not expensive, and generally have strong behaviors.

Great starter frog IMO. They don't have the same variety of colorations as some of the other frogs do, but there are several different morphs to choose from. They are also well established in the hobby and there is a lot of experience and support that's available for them.
