Ok, for an approximate cost, lets see. Figure roughly $400 to $600 for flight (I got mine for $420). Then depending on the amount of people going, we could rent a vehicle/vehicle's or higher a van. I'd ahve to look up the cost of van, but that would be much nicer and faster. For a week, it is about $350 to rent a 4wd vehicle, which is a must, and this holds 5 people. Hotels figure $30 a night (I would like to hit a few 2-5 day long trails though and just camp out in the jungle where possible). Food is very inexpensive, and you can get a good meal for $5 or less. So, lets say roughly, maybe $1000 area for around a week, i'll have to calculate it better and look everything up. I took $1500 in cash down there to pay rooms/car/food/souvenirs, and came back with $500 of it still, so it costed me about $900 and we did more tours and what not, so it may be a little less also. Give me some time to calculate it though, and get definite interest out of people .
Also, the monteverde cloud forest reserve needs help/donations to fund a new land purchase, called the corridor, which extends from the reserve almost to the nicoya peninsula. I am awaiting mroe info on that as well, so if anyone has any interest in donating, try contacting them. I wil get their email adde up when I get home from school Take care, and I really think this would be a great opportunity for all,
