Default Tree frogs and wood lice vs. springtails

I was thinking of seeding my future clown tree frog tank with either woodlice or springtails.

Is this a good idea? I looked around and saw some people that did but there wasn't any further posts detailing whither it was a wise choice or not.

I don't think my tree frogs will search through the substrate looking for the bugs but I wanted them to recycle my tank so I could set up a small ecosystem in the tank to break down extra wastes.

I think you are probably going to be disappointed at how much they can actually breakdown unless you get super high numbers.

Typically mold shouldn't be much of a problem after the first couple of months.
