Old used military medical equipment? Is it from Tuskegee? Maybe I've just got bad flashbacks from Jacob's Ladder, but that looks scary to me.
How about a cordless dust buster? I'm thinking that would be a lot less trouble. I think they're over priced on ebay with shipping, but plan on looking for one at a pawn shop and/or a thrift store.
