Default Supplements and Feeding Pumilio

I posted this in my basti pic thread, but haven't recieved any responses so I'd figure I'd try it as its own topic.

Basically, I've noticed that unlike my tincs and leucs my bastis don't eat the fruit flies right away. I find them foraging through the leaf litter picking at the springs and fruit flies hours after I drop the dusted flies in the viv.

What is the best way to ensure that these guys get proper nutrients? I rotate Herpavite, Rep-Cal, Super Pig, and Repashy ICB throughout my feedings, but the only supplements that seem to stick for extended periods of time are Super Pig and ICB.

Would setting up a "feed station" (i.e. banana/apple slice) help keep the flies more stationary and thus keep the supplements on them longer?

Would not just dusting flies, but also the area around the "feed station" make sense?

What about calcium enriched soils for the microfauna?

I'm curious to know what you guys with more experience keeping pumilios do in this regard.

thanks in advance.

Keep dusting every single feeding. The frogs will eventually take the flies.

Feeding stations are good.....never really a bad thing, using them.

Clay substate.....small amount of calcium and vitamin powder in the viv for the microfauna......all good.

My solarte barely picked at ff before they started breeding like crazy...after which they became ravenous and put a dent in the springtail population. They now know where I feed (always the same place) and both come out right after I dump some well-dusted flies in the tank. It honestly took months before the female chowed down on dusted flies.

I dust with a similar rotation, every time I feed. I also feed small amounts more often (every day-ish) than I do with my larger frogs so they aren't swamped with clean, leftover flies the next day.
