Problem I've seen with those and FFs is that they are actually getting out via the lid track not the screen Maybe some of the weather stripping in the back of the lid track, but the sides could be problematic...

You can actually build a "screen" to fit your tank out of parts found at either Home Dopot or Lowes. Look in the Screen door section.......If the FF can escape from the regular screen mesh, you might consider using "bridal net" which is finer (Wal Mart $5.00 a yard") instead of the window screening, just make sure that the spline that you use is a little tighter than the channel. Again, if you use the silicone earplug material (wal mart) to wrap around all wires and airholes, which is very pliable and non toxic, then I think you can fly proof the enclosure.....Also use painters tape aroundd the door frame of the exterro and zoo med enclosures..

The biggest problem with the tank in question is not the screening, but the fact that the slide in lids are not tight enough in the track to keep small insects from getting in and out that the screen may block - they were not built to do so. I don't know of making a replacement screen out of window screening parts and trying to slide that in and out would work because of the size of the track. If it fits in tightly but you can still move it, that would be great, but I don't remember them being the right size (I've just ended up ripping the top frame off and replacing it with an aquarium frame top).

The problem with the lid on the slide in screen top reptile tanks isn't the screen itself as much as the tracks the screen slides into. Since it doesn't fit really snuggly, there are gaps (bigger than the screening) where the flies and such can get out. These tanks were not built to be fly proof, and are not built in a way to make them easily fly proof.

In a fish aquarium, the frame is built so there is a lip on the inside rim of the tank, and typically froggers sit their lids on that rim - glass, screen, both - and make sure the contact is snug enough that no flies will slip through. I also put weather stripping on the rim as well, to make sure even minor warping won't create gaps where they could get out. Weather stripping added to the sliding track of the reptile tank will only cause it to have problems sliding... you'd need a lid that slides in there much more snuggly so there aren't gaps.

The reptile tanks are not recomended for smaller frogs for this reason (it's more effort than it's worth to make them FF proof IMO) and the fact that they are akward to open anyways (you open the back of the tank first when you slide it out - usually you want the front to open so you don't have to mess with the whole lid and have the portion closest to you open so it's easier to work with).
