What is the best(easiest) Fruit Fly culture to make?

I tried a power mix that involved grape juice, malasis, oatmeal, vinagar and all the rest of the stuff, it was from chris i believe? anyways its been like 5 days and i know nothing will happen for another week. oh im doin hydei, but my Q. is is this goin to work well? also the original culture i bought last week still has a ton of larva but they are almost out of food can i put some of the new power media in the old clture to help the larve? thanks, Chris

The culture sould work fine. That media recipie is pretty good. If you want something eaiser, alot of people just use potato flakes, powdered sugar, and brewer's yeast.

Yea, you can add some more media to the dying culture, but don't go over board. The culture will go caput before all of the media you added is used.
