breeding age of G & Brz auratus

what is the breeding age of green and bronze auratus?? I have 6 that are between 6.5 and 8 mo. old??

Generally, between 10-14 months or so.

Don't rush them, be patient. Let them grow big and mature before breeding them. Rather than trying to get eggs as soon as they are biologically capable. Frogs bred to early usually lay bad clutches for a while and do not grow to their full size.

im not interested in raising any frogs yet. just curious to know when.... I am anxious to hear them call though!! I will let them raise them when they are ready themselves . Im not ready to be a frog grandpa

Hello, normally it is around 10+ like Zach said, but I had two pair that I never heard calling but found tadpoles in the water around 7 months. It normally takes a while to hear them call because you don't quite know what it will sound like, and then after you do, you can hear them call all the time.

Hello, it is a very quite call. If you have the tank open you can hear a buzzing that sounds like a cell phone on vibrate. I can only hear mine if I am listening for them and know what I am trying to hear. If you look up Auratus calls on youtube I bet they have some.

My costa ricans auratus are quite loud. My campana...I am yet to hear him call but they are breeding.
