Default Tadpole Morph question

Hey guys, if anyone could answer this question would be appreciated, my Auratus finally morphed out int he morph tank, and i notice the froglet still has a bit of tail left, but he or she.. is climbing on pebble stone(which means lungs have develop), i wonder when can i move him to his 10 gallon tank seeded with springtail? even though he still has a bit of his tail on him or her.. any advice would be glady accepted

To avoid any problems I tend to wait for the metamorphosis to be complete before I introduce lots of springtails to the frogs. If the springtails crawl over the metamorph in some amounts, he might stress out and die. In rearing tanks full of springtails it's often difficult for them to avoid the springtails which are everywhere. So other options would be to give only small amounts of food items, or provide them with enough space to be able to avoid getting 'run over'.

Metamorphs will not feed for a few days as the nurishment from the tail resorption will be all they need at first. I would leave him in a decent sized container and not feed yet. Once the tail is fully resorbed and the frog is obviously active and inquisitive, this is when you move him/her to the grow-out. This is how I do it, and it has worked fine for me. Best of luck, and congrats!

I think most folks morph theirs out in small containers, so you simply place the container in the grow out tank so the frog can exit when it’s ready. I let mine get to point they have virtually no tail left and them move them to a film vile in the grow out tank or just put them in the leaf litter.
