I have had tads that swim in circles morph into frogs with no ill effects and I don't know what to say bout the lump

I can't say everything's okay without seeing a photo, but the erratic swimming sounds like it could be egg requesting behavior. I've noticed this with regularity. In my vanzolinii, flavovittata and highland lamasi tads. Don't have green lamasi tads so I couldn't be sure.

Could the lump be an air bubble? Does it stay on top of the water and struggle to swim to the bottom?
