Default Inducing breeding?

Got a mated pr. of Auratus about 5 months ago. Haven't bred for me yet tho! They seem active and happy. Temp/hummidity levels good, feed daily with dusted FF alternating btw Calcium and Herptivite, lights on 12hrs/day. Tried shortening light period to 8 hrs for 2 weeks but still no go.
Anyone have any other ways to get them in the mood? I know with fish it sometimes helps to separate a pr for a time and then reintroduce. Also to rearrange their habitat or move them to a new one.

I find my auratus don't breed with temps under 78f. They don't get a night drop, either. I'm going to give them a rest for a while, and drop the temps, but they've been laying from the age of 8 months through now, just 13 months old.

The only break they took was when the house got cold, and I guess the heat pad wasn't enough juice. They hovered right around 76 degrees for about two weeks. No courting, no calling no eggs, until they had been up to temp again for a week.

Just my two cents.

mine did not breed until they were almost 2 yrs old so it could be a matter of maturity for the female. the males call is very quiet unless u r listening for it, so he might be calling but the female may not be responding. or as said in the reply above it could be too cold. i keep my trio in a ten gallon with just a shallow layer of hydroton no screen then i put t-rex terrarium moss down, then a ton of leaf litter so most of the substrate is moss and leaves. the moss keeps the humidity level high because it is airy the air in the viv passes through the moss keeping air moist enough to simulate a rainy season. the leaves provide multiple egg sites and security for the frogs. i just use pothos and wandering jew for the foliage, grows fast and needs little light. so in my opinion its a cobination of providing a sense of security for the frogs, especially since the auratus r so shy. this is the main problem with breeding these frogs is u need to leave them alone for awhile once u have them in this enclosure, privacy and patience r key. also u need to simulate a climate change from dry to wet. place them in a viv for about 2-3 months with decent ventilation at about 70% humidity and in the low 70s. then after 2-3 months seal up the viv they r in sonoventilation or put them in one u already have set up, then raise the temp to about 77-78 with as close to 100% humidity as u can get, then u should see some courting behavior in about a week or so. this is my method i use for my auratus but each frog is different sometimes u just have to do try everything and use what works best for u. but most of all patience. oh and t o seal up the ten gallon i just cut a peice of glass to fit the top. its just a ten gallon from walmart its has a little dropped ridge along the top to hold the hood in place so i just place a peice of glass in between the hood and the tank and it keeps it at 97% works great
