Default Patricia Woohoo

So just to make it aware how great this is, I have been keeping darts for over 1 1/2 years and I have nearly 40 vivs and 35 speices, but until today I have not succesfully bred any of them. I have had breeding, but no success with the tads until today.

Doing my usual rounds checking all the frogs as I was about to leave for work I looked into my patricia viv and noticed a small replica of the adults just sitting on a left. I took a second look them got my gf up to make sure I wasn't seeing things and I wasn't. I had a patricia froglet. I was very excited to say the least considering my struggles to get soemthing besides my crested geckos to breed. So after I removed the little guy from the viv ( and he was not easy to get out, quite a robust energetic little guy) I looked in the water area and noticed a couple tads. Maybe when I get home I'll find a few more froglets.

I'll post pics when I get a chance

Definitely! I can't imagine discovering a tadpole (or eggs ) only to wait, seemingly forever, for it to morph out. Congratulations on your first froglet!!

Congratulations, George!!

I have found my Patricias to be reluctant breeders, but I have a group of juveniles just reaching breeding age now. The thrill of successful breeding is only surpassed by breeding the F1 frogs from that breeding.

Good luck! Richard in Staten Island.

When I get home I'll work on the pics.

I probably do have more eggs, I know I have a few tads in there, and I am hoping I have a couple more froglets.

I wanted to respect the frogs so there coco hut is in the back of the viv behind a large piece of driftwood, which makes it hard to access. It seems like they appreciated the privacy. Even tho there hut is the back they spend most of the time up front.

I can't beleive I missed them moving tads, or even seeing them in the water. I check all my frogs in the mroning and then again when I get home from work. You would think I would have noticed.

I have been very busy the last mos and a half especially on the weekends which is when I would have noticed the most going on. Anyways it shows that you can have soemthing breeding without actually seeing anything going on.

Well I guees that tinc I heard calling was them.

Can't wait for the next froglet suprise I get. Pretty sure I have imis breeding and possibly some FG vents

Now just to get those femoralis and SI's to lay fertile cluthes
