New Imitator Eggs
Well, after about a month of continuous calling each morning, I finally discovered a clutch of eggs. Instead of laying the eggs on a leaf or inside of a film canister, they decided to lay the eggs on the OUTside of the canister. Not even one week later, they have laid their second clutch of 2 eggs.
Picture of the daddy guarding his first clutch for me. I apologize for the fly sitting on top of one of the eggs.
Here is a picture of the second clutch. I think its still too early for me to tell whether they are good or not, but the first clutch already has a lot of development in them. Once again, sorry about the picture quality as i couldnt get the camera to focus on the eggs rather than the plant.
Let me knjow what you think! It's pretty damn exciting to get my first and second clutch of imitator eggs!
