I constructed my 60G cube viv out of an acrylic aquarium that had its welds blow out. I re-welded most of it (admittedly I am no good with acrylic and did not build this is the first place.) Then I went ahead and siliconed' the bottom portion just in case. Unfortunately I still have one of the joints leaking a little. It is a very slow drip, but it is warping and staining the custom stand none the less. So I suppose I will be draining the water and applying some more Weld-On #16 to the edge...

My name is Jessie and I am a commercial and industrial electrician. At the moment I am currently un-employed. Hazard of the trade really, I spend about three to four weeks a year laid off so it is really no big deal I plan well for it. man! this has been a crappy week............... real crappy .my wife (jessica) is back in the hospital. you may already know but she had a heart transplant 2 yrs ago . she recently went back into rejection, which means her body is fighting off the heart. she has no immune system as it is so its hard to regulate it past lowering her immune system she is on dialisis for 4 hours a day. havent got too many answers from the docs which does not mean anything good...................all we can do is...
