I have a question. I recently purchased 2 Leucs, and I had a temp question. The variables between the temp on each side of the 55 gallon paludarium is 82 in one spot, and about 70 on each side of that spot. Is that good range??

I would say not to go over 80 anywhere in the tank.

A lot depends on why your temp is spiking at 82 in one spot and where that spike is occuring. It is not uncommon for temps at the top of the viv to be a few degrees higher than at substrate level due to proximity of lighting. Sounds like there are some cooler spots as well. I've noticed that leucs don't mind it a bit on the warm side compared to some other PDFs but if you are seeing 82 at surface level, you might have a problem.
