Default Midwest Reptile Show ???

Has anyone been there that can give some insight on what kind of stuff they might have available? PDF's, Vivs, Plants, Wood, ect... Are there good deals at these? Would it be worth a 3 hr drive, with young "children" in the back seat  ??? Anybody else going?

Quality Captives always has a table set up there (http://www.qualitycaptives.com), and often has frogs not listed on their site. they also have flies, media, cork bark (panels and tubes), coco panels, and a lot of other terrarium supplies. Bob (rbrightstone on this forum) is there, also, usually with some nice broms and other terrarium plants.

There are usually some other vendors with frogs (not usually darts, but other frogs like tree frogs, etc.). There is also a cricket vendor with pinheads. Several other vendors are there with various items, but QC and Bob have dart-related items each month. There used to be some other vendors from this board there, but I haven't seen them in the past few months.

Whether or not it's worth a 3 hour drive with kids in the back seat . . . I'll leave that up to you. However, I'll be there.

Thanks Homer,
Glad to hear that there is some dart stuff available. I did find out Quality Captive is a vendor there since my last post. I will be on the look out for Bob's table, too. Are there any other hot spots (frog stuff) in town that would be worth checking out, while I'm there? Our local shops are really sinking. The best one we had shut there doors over summer.
Glad they invented the internet. Just hate the shipping part of it.
As for the kids, I think grandma might get a phone call

There are alot of frog people in the area and many will arrange to meet you at the show if you set up something before hand. I ocassionally go to Indy to vend but usually avoid ti due to the large number of importers there who sell sick animals dirt cheap. You can't go wrong buying from Quality Captives, but be careful with some of the other vendors.
