Too much humidity?
Question: is there such a thing as too much humidity? I have 3 R. imitator Varadero in a 24x18x24 Exo Terra. After hearing that they enjoy relatively high humidity, I have left the front vent open and have two 1" holes in the top with screen over them. Not a huge amount of ventilation. The front fogs up, which I don't really mind, but I plan to add the odd 1" hole in the top until the fogging gets a little less severe. For reference I mist for 15 seconds once per day, and usually have the center of my broms filled with water, and a tiny bit of water under the false bottom (water does not cover the bottom of the viv though). My humidity reading is via a Digital Aquatics probe that I have over one of the screened holes in a PVC coupling (thanks to the advice of a member here I was advised not to put it in the viv for corrosion reasons). The humidity reads 95% - 100% percent if I don't open the doors for a brief period in the day.
Is this too much too the point that bacterial infections, etc could take hold - or is it perfectly fine? Thank you in advance for you help.
