Default Water!!

I am sure this has been covered numerous times but I am finding it hard to search the info I need.
I would like to know what water people use for misting/maintenance of their vivs?
I have softened water that I stand for 48hrs. I still notice a very slight white deposit on leaves as they dry which I hate.
I am worried about using rainwater due to absorbed pollutants. Bottled water has minerals that will leave deposits and RO water I think is too pure.

Any suggestions and interested to hear what others do.

Steve

I use distilled water and see no white deposits on my plants or glass. I also have used RO water in the past and had no problems.

I use distilled water and have hade no problems, exept onetime I knocked the lid off of the bottle with my knee when I was on my knees getting something from the bottom of the stand, and ended up with 2 or 3 cups of water on my wood floor. but that has nothing to do with the actual water, just me being clumsy.
Judy S and Shinosuke like this.

Every time I see someone singing the praises of Arrowhead Bottled Water I have to laugh. I worked at a chemical company not 300 feet from the distribution center. Click on the attached map to check out where this water actually comes from.
