Obvious newbie here. I'm setting up an 18x18x24 Exo-Terra tank. I'm here to learn quite a few things from all of you!

I'll post pictures of my progress on the tank and would appreciate tips/critiques.

Welcome to the hobby!

My tips would be:

- Search the forums for helpful insights and knowledge
- Leaf Litter is your friend (and your frogs)
- Realize that youre gonna make mistakes. Its ok, dont panic. Thats how u learn!
- When in doubt (or not): Ask Questions! (Most members are very helpful)
- Extra FF cultures is always better than too few

My one big tip based on what I have been seeing lately... Is research drainage layers. False bottom, LECA, etc. make sure you have a good drainage layer and you will have better luck of your first tank lasting and not having overly saturated soil.
