Default do i need a glass top or is a screen top fine

i HAVE A SCREEN TOP ON MY TEN GALLON ANHD IM AFRAID ITS LETTING OUT TOO MUCH HUMIDITY.

Yes, you will want to cover at least part of the top with glass. Otherwise your frogs will dry out into prunes unless you have a very humid environment outside the cage.

If its an emergency or your not to concerned with the aesthetic just use some seran wrap. But IMHO you need a top especially if you run AC/Heat.

You will need to get yourself a glass top.
At least that is your best bet.
I know some people have used screen tops but, they have used plastic wrap to seal in the moisture. I just think that if you go to a local glass store you can have them cut the glass for you for under $15.00.

On my first viv all I had was a screen top. I had a hard time keeping the humidity high enough for the liking of my frogs. As soon as I put a glass top on it made a whole world of difference. The humidity shop up and my frogs actually came out and would hide.

I actually prefer to use screen tops wrapped in plastic wrap.

You don't need to set lights on them when you have them on racks with 4 ft. shop lights. All it is is personal preferance.

thats true. I focus on aesthetics alot, I like a good clean, simple looking tank and a nice natural look on the outside. But as you said, personal preference.
