Default my frog went A wall

I turned my llights on my tank today to only see 1 of my leucs didnt think anything of it because as you all know sometimes they are hiding in coco huts, film canisters, inside broms, etc.etc.... and by the end of the day I see both of them anyway usually if not the next day...

well I get home tonight and I still only see 1 and hes in the film canister. I searched the entire tank and NOTHING

at this point im kinda worried there is about 2% of me that thinks he still might be in the tank hiding... I look around for bout 30 minutes in all the possible areas he could be in the house... and I have not seen any sign of him...

im hoping he turns up maybe in the morning I will see he / she has tricked me and is still in the tank... If hes out of the tank I dont have much stock into finding him seeing as i also have 2 cats, a pitbull, chihuahua, and a weenie dog runing around....

I did an assessment of my exo terra and the only spot that he coulda escaped from was where the slider piece is to close off the gaps for the wire but he woulda had to really force his way through...

Give it a couple more days. Leucs, in my experience are great at hiding. I have had some missing for over a week and then, BAM, there it is again. Leucs are also notorious for escaping, but keep your fingers crossed, he is probably just hiding. Have you tried feeding to see if it comes out? Sometimes that works very well...

Its just a figure of speach.... but that is also why I spelled it differently... lol.. how should I put it then MIA...

I tried feeding this morning and I didn't see but 1 still... I looked around the tank some more just anywhere I think I would hide if I was a frog and no luck.. of course it doesn't help me be very optimistic when im looking at my cat perched up hi licking her lips..

Anytime you think there's an escaped frog you should put out lots of trays and bowls filled with water around the room/house

I know the feeling! One of my 4 leucs hides a lot, and I hadn't seen him for 2 days, so I poked around the tank a bit, still didn't find him. Looked on the flor etc. The next day, there he is just hopping around like usual. I can def. see why a shyer species would be hard for a first tirme frogger! So glad you found him!

put flour down in a area where it might be you can then see if there any foot prints and the direction it was heading in.
