Default well darn, is this too big?

Having had lost some frogs last year I decided to move my group (4) of variabilis to one of the bigger tanks and use their old tank for one of my dwarf gecko species. The new tank measures 50x50x50cm which is almost 20x20x20inches, the old one is 35x40x40cm (roughly a little over 15 gallons). After getting them all in there today they look a little lost like the tank is far too huge for them (they still have yet to find the bromeliads, even after the lights went out).

Is this size too big for 4 of these guys?

I think it's just fine. I'm sure they live in something bigger than a 20'' cube in the wild :P

I bet you'll get to observe some neat behaviors in a viv that size.

IMO there's no such thing as "too big." The bigger the tank the more your frogs have to explore so it may take a few extra days for them to become accustomed to the viv, but they should be fine.

I agree there is no such thing as "too big", because in the wild their habitat is huge. But also consider that food is readily available everywhere in the wild. That's not always the case in captivity. As long as you spread food around and make it easy to find, they will be fine. All frogs take a while to adjust to new tanks.
