Default Eggs frequently missing. Assume being eaten?

I keep having random eggs in film canisters coming up missing. I can only assume they are being eaten. Is this normal with Vents?

I am just going to pull the eggs right when I see them from now on. My last few batches to do that with hatched allright.

I have noticed this happening with some of my vents but not enough for me too pull the eggs as soon as I see them.

I would guess it to be a possibility, especially with four females. Lot of females for one male, not enough to go around .

once i find that my current supply of Tads make it to the Frog-stage I plan on purchasing another Male. I have more Tads than I can handle right now anyway. My 20g tank experiment being a success is the only thing making myself even pulling eggs/tads out of the tank anyway.

hopefully the additional male can help out with the "oh so stressful job" of servicing the ladies
