light for12x12x18 (11.22gal)

Would a 26w daylight CFL be an adequate amount of light for plants in a 12x12x18 (11.22gal) enclosure? Also do you think it would be able to keep the tank warm enough?

A 26W CFL will be plenty of light for the aquarium you're wanting to use it for. As for heat, If anything, you might be running a little hot but I dont see any way that you wont be able to keep good temps with that light. With the way the weather is across the country right now, keeping the viv warm wont be a problem at all and you might even have to get a small fan to keep things warm depending on how you keep the thermostat set at your house.

A 26W CFL should be plenty of light for sure.
Depending on your household temps just room temperature should be fine, and that light will raise it about 2 degrees.

I don't know where you live but I know where i am now this time of year it's more of a problem to keep temps under 80 then keeping them above 70 so you shouldn't have a problem.
