Default Pumilio?

So I've taking care of frogs for awhile now and been thinking of getting some pumilio. I don't have any experience with them, so can you all recommend some to start with..or even some to definitely stay away from until I become more experienced.

Thanks!

I'd get some Bastis!

Before you decide to get some make sure that you do some research in regards to them, (housing, food, care, ect.). For a starter Pumilio I personally would recommend either a Bastimentos or a Man Creek morph. Stay away from rarer morphs for starters, as most of them are rare because of they are tricky to care for. Also I suggest once you are ready for them to place plenty of leaf litter, and plenty of springtails in their viv's. Good luck
Charles

Definitely. They were the first morph available (if I'm correct), and because of that have become the cheapest and least desirable. This makes them really easy to overlook, but I saw some of AZDR's at the Black Jungle BBQ and I was blown away. Beautiful, (relatively) cheap, and easy = perfect.

The DB care sheet lists the following as easy:
Bastimentos
Man Creek

And the following as hard:
Darklands
Robalo

Considering I am fairly new to this hobby and I've never kept pums, this is all I have to offer.

Personally,
I would recomend some "Yellow Bellys"! They have been nice & simple.
Nice bold frog that is not shy in my experience, they have been very easy to keep for me, and i have had my trials and errors w/ pumilio...
just my suggestion. affordable too!

I believe the difficulty differences in those morphs are because froglets of darklands and robalo are hard to raise to adulthood. As far as care goes I think most pums are pretty much the same except for humidity differences. I agree with getting bastis first still though.
