electronic pest repeller

I have a question I was hoping someone could answer. I have mice in my house and I just bought an electornic pest repeller. I was wondering if I could use this in my house around my frogs. It is a plug in repeller that generates ultrasonic signals to keep mice away. Has anyone used these?

If you have mice, you want to exterminate, not annoy. Stick with a traditional trap, or if you are too kind to harm mice, there are some good "live" traps on the market. Catch and release, bait with peanut butter.

Of course keep away from kids and pets.

Electronic pest repellers are a waste of money IMHO. Borderline scam too. Get a trap or some poison. Since poison is usually in the form of pellets or poisoned grain and not in the air, it shouldn't harm frogs as long as you wash your hands throughly after setting it out and not put them in the viv right afterwards.
